Craniosacral Therapy for Babies & Kids in Seattle
Gentle, hands-on care for little bodies. I offer craniosacral therapy and infant bodywork for newborns, babies, and children in Seattle. The touch is quiet and light, usually about the weight of a nickel, and it is guided by your child’s comfort from start to finish.
I have advanced training in craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation, and additional training with children and babies. My practice centers on pediatrics and family medicine, so your child is seen by someone who knows both bodywork and how kids grow and develop.
What Is Pediatric Craniosacral Therapy?
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle manual therapy. It focuses on the head, spine, sacrum, and the connective tissue around them. With babies, it is light holding and listening rather than pushing or cracking. Many infants fall asleep during a session.
Birth is a big physical event for a baby. That is true for a long labor, a fast one, a C-section, or a vacuum- or forceps-assisted delivery. Parents often look for infant bodywork in the weeks and months afterward, when something feels “stuck” and they want a gentle way to support their baby.
Why Seattle Families Bring Their Babies In
Families commonly come to me for infant craniosacral therapy when their baby is dealing with:
Feeding or latch challenges, including support before and after a tongue- or lip-tie release
Fussiness, gassiness, or difficulty settling
A strong preference for turning the head to one side, or tension through the neck and jaw
Disrupted sleep
Recovery after a difficult or interventive birth
Craniosacral therapy works best as part of a team. I coordinate with lactation consultants, pediatricians, and other providers so the care supports one another rather than competing.
Craniosacral Therapy for Kids and Toddlers
Bodywork isn’t only for newborns. I also see toddlers and older children. Common reasons include stress and nervous system regulation, sleep, tension after falls or bumps, and general support during big developmental stretches. Sessions with kids adapt to the child: some lie still, some sit on a parent’s lap, some keep playing while I work.
What to Expect at Your Child’s Visit
The first visit includes time to talk through your child’s birth history, health history, and your goals. Then we do a hands-on session, usually [length] minutes. You stay with your child the entire time. Feeding, rocking, or pausing during the session is always welcome.
Many families notice changes within a few sessions. I’ll give you an honest sense of how many visits make sense for your child, and when another kind of care might help more.

Dr Molly Latin Frequently Asked Questions
Is craniosacral therapy safe for newborns?
Craniosacral therapy uses very light, non-forceful touch, and it is generally well tolerated by infants. I screen every child’s health history first and refer to their pediatrician whenever something needs medical evaluation.
How young can my baby be?
I see babies from the first weeks of life onward.
How many sessions will my baby need?
It varies. Some babies respond in one or two visits, and others benefit from a short series. We’ll reassess together as we go.
Do you work with lactation consultants and tongue-tie providers?
Yes. Many of my infant clients come to me alongside IBCLC support, before or after a tie release.
Does insurance cover infant craniosacral therapy?
Yes! I accept most major insurances or sessions can be paid for with HSA/FSA
